Place your marker on any junction of the board to start the game. Take turns turns with your opponent, setting one stone per turn. Surround your opponent's stones fully to remove them from the board. Control more area than your opponent by the end of the game to triumph. Employ planning to prevent your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Note that stones are fixed once placed, unless removed. The game ends when both players skip their turns consecutively, indicating no more moves can help either side.
